Meet Apostle & Lady Brown
Apostle Clarence Brown, Jr. and Lady Nakia Brown faithfully serve together as the leaderes in a thriving ministry, equipping and cultivating sons and daughters to do the work of the Lord, advancing the Kingdom with conviction, compassion, and clarity. Together they are the proud parents of four children, four grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Clarence was born and raised in Mobile, Alabama, and accepted his calling into the ministry in 2010. After ten years of servanthood at True Light Missionary Baptist Church and two years at The Temple of Jerusalem Cathedral Ministries, Apostle Brown stepped fully into his pastoral calling, launching The House of Rescue Church Ministries in May of 2016. He is also a published author, known for his powerful manual The Before and After, A Biblical Escort to the Call, a resource designed to cultivate Kingdom leaders, and his inspiring autobiography, The Carousel of Captivity.
Nakia was born and raised in the Bronx, NY and was a diligent and faithful member of Macedonia Baptist Church of Harlem, NY. Since six years of age, she has worked in ministry in some capacity. Making accepted her calling and was licensed as a Minister of the Gospel in May of 2023 at House of Rescue Church Ministries. She has worked for the Mobile County Public School System since 2015, as the Supervisor of Psychological Services and, as of July 2025, has transitioned into the position of District Test Coordinator. She is also the CEO of Open Door Travel & More, LLC.
Together, they are a God-driven couple striving to lead the lost to the Savior.
